Sirocco is a post production studio based in Wellington, New Zealand. We van provide you with the tools and facilities required for every aspect of postproduction;
and we deliver to the highest quality and technical standards.
Sirocco is led by Post Production Manager Gavin Laurie, who has a wealth of experience working with top broadcasters, including the BBC and Granada television.
He, together with a team of New Zealand and international specialists, uses state-of-the-art tools to get the job done.
The edit suites at Sirocco were built by the only person really qualified to buuild an edit suite, an editor! We believe edit suites should be spacious, quiet, comfortable
places so that you can get the maximum out of your creative minds!
Our main edit suite has an ultra-fast Mac Pro with a massive 5TB video arrat, which will cope with uncompressed HD material without even breaking onto a sweat!
We couldnt pick sides in the Final Cut Pro vs Avid battle so we decided to get both! The online suite hosts Avid Media Composer and Final Cut Studio 2, along with
Shake, After Effects, Motion, Color and Photoshop.
